Terms of Service

1 · Acceptance of Terms​

By downloading, accessing, or using the ReadyDad mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2 · Description of Service​

ReadyDad, developed by Kindled Studio (Ayden Mich) (“Kindled”, “we”, “our”), provides an AI-powered companion app designed to help dads navigate early parenthood with practical insights and emotional support.

The App enables users to:

  • Chat with an AI guide trained on general parenting, health, and wellbeing information.
  • Receive age-appropriate prompts and ideas based on the child’s stage.
  • Manage preferences and privacy settings, including the ability to delete or pause memory.
  • Optionally connect with friends via invite codes.

3 · No Professional Advice​

The App provides general information only. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice and must not be relied upon as such.
Always consult a qualified medical or mental-health professional for individual concerns.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the information or suggestions provided by the App.

4 · User Accounts and Responsibilities​

4.1 Authentication​

You may sign in using Apple, Google, or other supported providers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4.2 Accurate Information​

Provide accurate information during onboarding (for example, your child’s date of birth). Inaccurate data may result in irrelevant responses.

4.3 Acceptable Use​

You must not:

  • Misuse or interfere with the App’s systems or APIs.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or bypass rate limits.
  • Share or reuse content from the App in a misleading way.
  • Use the App for any commercial, automated, or abusive activity.

Violation may result in suspension or termination under section 11.

5 · Payments and Access​

5.1 Free Tier​

ReadyDad offers a free tier that includes a limited number of AI chat messages per month. These limits reset monthly and are visible in-app.

5.2 Upgrades and Subscription (when available)​

We may offer paid tiers or one-time upgrades that expand message limits or unlock premium features. Payment terms will be shown at checkout in your App Store or Google Play account.

5.3 Refunds​

Purchases are processed via the relevant app store and are subject to that store’s refund policy.

6 · Data and Privacy​

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can view, export, or delete your data at any time in Settings → Memory & Data.
We never sell your data. Some anonymous, aggregated metrics may be used to improve performance and safety.

7 · AI and Content​

ReadyDad uses large language models (LLMs) from third-party providers (for example, OpenAI).
Responses are generated dynamically and may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. We monitor and update system prompts to improve quality and safety but make no guarantees of correctness.

You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any response for your personal situation.

8 · Service Availability​

We aim to keep the App available at all times but may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We are not responsible for interruptions, data loss, or downtime beyond our reasonable control.

9 · Intellectual Property​

All software, designs, and content within the App are owned by Kindled Studio or its licensors.
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal use only.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reuse content without written permission.

10 · Limitation of Liability​

10.1 Australian Consumer Law​

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

10.2 Maximum Liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the previous 12 months.

10.3 Excluded Damages​

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity.

11 · Termination​

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time in the App.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or violate acceptable use limits.

12 · Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

13 · Updates to Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
