We're live! Here's what we're building and why it matters.

If you are reading this, you likely know the feeling. That specific, sinking feeling of logging into your ImmiAccount, seeing the status "Received," and realising nothing has changed since yesterday. Or last week. Or last month.

Moving to Australia—or trying to stay here—is one of the most stressful administrative hurdles a person can go through. It’s not just paperwork; it’s your life, your career, and your family on hold.

That is why we built ImmiGrant.

The Problem with "Just Waiting"​

For years, visa applicants have had to rely on rumors, forums, and manually checking the Department of Home Affairs website to guess when their visa might be granted. The official global processing times are helpful, but they can be difficult to interpret and change frequently.

We realised that what applicants needed wasn't just "data"—they needed clarity. They needed a way to track their specific subclass without navigating complex government tables every single day.

What ImmiGrant Does​

ImmiGrant is an independent mobile app designed to put a little bit of control back in your hands. While we can’t speed up the Department of Home Affairs (we wish we could!), we can make the waiting room a much nicer place to be.

With our V1 launch today, you can:

  • Track Multiple Visas: Whether you are waiting on a 189, 190, 482, or a Partner visa, keep them all in one clean dashboard.
  • Monitor Processing Times: We pull the latest global processing times so you can see exactly where your application sits against the averages.
  • Visualise the Data: Instead of raw numbers, see easy-to-read charts that help you understand if your wait time is normal or if it’s becoming an outlier.

This is Just the Beginning​

We are a small, independent team (and yes, we’ve been through the visa process ourselves). We know that "data" doesn't solve anxiety, but "knowing" helps.

This launch is just step one. We have a roadmap full of features designed to help you organise your documents, track milestones, and eventually, celebrate that "Granted" notification.
