ReadyDad is proudly published by Ayden Mich, trading as Kindled Studio (“Kindled,” “we,” “our,” “us”).
We know that as a parent, your family's privacy and data security are of the utmost importance to you. This Privacy Policy transparently explains what data we collect, exactly how we use it, how we protect it, and the strictly limited circumstances in which we share it when you use the ReadyDad mobile app (the Bedtime Story Generator).

1. Information We Collect
To provide a seamless, warm, and personalized experience, we collect the following limited types of information:

What we do NOT collect: We will never collect precise GPS location data, highly sensitive biometric data, government-issued IDs, or raw financial details. All in-app purchases are completely and securely handled by your device's verified app store.
2. How We Use Your Information
Everything we collect serves one primary goal: making bedtime easier and more magical for you and your child.
- Provide and Personalize the Service: To let you create child profiles, generate tailored bedtime stories, pin favorites to a library, and seamlessly manage your subscription.
- Improve Safety, Quality, and Stability: To proactively monitor app diagnostics, allowing us to fix crashes quickly, maintain high performance, and resolve generation failures.
- Comply With the Law & Prevent Abuse: To respond to lawful government requests or actively prevent abusive behavior on our platforms.
We absolutely do not sell your personal data. We do not run third-party advertisements. We do not use your personal stories or child profile data to train external public data models.
3. Trusted Third Parties
To weave magical stories and ensure a performant app experience, your data is securely processed using proven third-party service providers.
- Backend & Hosting Services: We use secure cloud infrastructure providers to store your profile data, authenticate your account, and host your saved stories. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
- Text Generation: Your child's inputs (theme, mood, name, age) are processed securely through trusted content generation providers. These providers are bound by strict agreements to only generate the text of the stories and are prohibited from retaining or using your data to train their models.
- Subscription Management: We rely on secure providers to handle subscription validation without exposing your financial data to us.
- Crash Reporting: We securely process basic error logs to help us trace bugs and improve the app.
When data leaves your region, it is strictly processed under robust contractual safeguards and encryption protocols to preserve your privacy.
4. Security Measures
We treat your data with the care it deserves. Our technical safeguards include:
- Encryption: All network connections are securely encrypted so data cannot be intercepted.
- Data Isolation: You can only ever securely access your own family's data.
- Access Controls: Strict access and audit logging for any internal administrative systems.
Despite these rigorous measures, no digital system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We employ modern, commercially reasonable technical steps to protect your family's information from unauthorized access.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You remain in complete control of your family's data:
- Full Account Deletion: You can request instant account deletion directly from the "Settings" menu inside the App. This action permanently and irreversibly destroys your account, all child profiles, and all saved stories.

6. Your Rights
Depending on your local jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access or view the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate profile data.
- Instantly delete your account and associated child profiles/stories via the app.
- Lodge a formal complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or your local data protection authority.
If you have a manual request or inquiry, we will respond to your verified email within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
ReadyDad is a tool designed explicitly for parents and guardians. It is not directed at children, and children are not meant to interact with the screen.
While a parent inputs their child's name, age, and gender into the app to personalize the story output, the account holder must be a responsible adult. If you wish to remove your child's profile data, you can delete their profile seamlessly from the app's home screen or delete your entire account entirely. If we learn we have unintentionally collected personal data directly from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that data immediately.
8. International Data Transfers
Our secure servers and trusted third-party providers may be geographically hosted outside of your country of residence (such as the United States or the European Union). By using the App, you consent to the secure transfer of information across borders. We ensure all international transfers utilize industry-standard safeguards.
9. Policy Changes
From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. We will proactively notify you of material changes by:
- Displaying an in-app notice or prominent banner.
- Sending a direct email (if we hold your email address).
- Updating the “Last updated” date prominently at the top of this document.
Continued use of the ReadyDad app after such changes implies you accept the updated policy.
